Mission:
The purpose of Pre-Occupational Therapy Club is to aide fellow Pre-OT students at the University of Illinois-Chicago in enhancing their knowledge of occupational therapy. Pre-OT Club primarily focuses on hosting meetings with speakers about applying to occupational therapy school, what life as an OT student is like, and possible career choices as an occupational therapist. The club provides multiple opportunities for our members to learn about this particular profession through meetings, volunteering, visiting occupational therapy programs, conferences/seminars, and other related events. By supplying Pre-OT students with these opportunities and insight into life as an occupational therapist, we hope to help our members become stronger applicants for graduate school as they learn more about Occupational Therapy.
